1. Choose a Vehicle by Group Size
- 1–4 people: A sedan or 5-seat SUV is sufficient; choose an SUV if you have a lot of luggage
- 5–6 people: A 7-seat SUV or MPV (such as a GL8), balancing comfort and luggage space
- 7–11 people: A 12-seat van (such as a Transit), suitable for families or small groups
- 12–18 people: A 19-seat minibus (such as a Coaster), suitable for group travel
2. What Charter Fees Usually Include
Vehicle usage fee, professional driver, fuel within the daily rate, and driver meals and accommodation. Generally not included: tolls, parking fees, charges for exceeding the agreed mileage, and scenic-area tickets. Please confirm the "included / not included" list on the product page before ordering to avoid misunderstandings during the trip.
3. Mileage and Excess Mileage
Chauffeur-driven charter products usually set a daily mileage cap (for example, 300 km per day), with excess charged per kilometer. For long-distance routes (such as the Northern Xinjiang Loop or the Duku Highway), we recommend informing us of your itinerary in advance so customer service can calculate mileage and provide a quote.
4. The Driver's Role
Charter drivers are familiar with local roads, gas stations and accommodation options, and can help plan the daily driving pace. Please note that the driver is responsible for driving and vehicle matters; guided commentary at attractions and ticket handling are not part of the standard service — please discuss in advance if needed.
5. When a Charter Is the Better Choice
A charter is more hassle-free in these situations: you prefer not to drive; overseas visitors have not obtained a temporary driving permit; you are traveling high-altitude and border routes (such as the Pamir Plateau or Tashkurgan); or your group is large and needs to move together.
